Live Streaming: Google Chrome Browser

To watch your local PBS station's live stream on the Google Chrome browser, you'll need to enable location sharing with PBS.org. If you are using another browser, select it from the list below to see instructions for your browser:

• Microsoft Edge
• Mozilla Firefox
• Safari

If you see the error message "We could not determine your device's location" when attempting to view the live stream, please follow the steps below to enable location sharing.

• On a Computer
• On an Android Phone or Tablet
• On an iPhone or iPad

On a Computer

To change the settings for PBS.org specifically, follow the steps below.

1. On your computer, open the Chrome browser.
2. Visit PBS.org.
3. To the left of the web address (URL), click the icon displayed: Lock () or Info ().
4. Click Site settings to open the site settings for PBS.org on your browser.
5. To the right of Location, select Ask or Allow. It will automatically save.
6. Return to the live stream on PBS.org to begin watching the live stream.

To change your location sharing settings for the entire Google Chrome browser on a computer, follow the steps below.

1. On your computer, open the Chrome browser.
2. At the top right, click the menu icon () > Settings.
3. Click Privacy and security on the left.
4. Click Site Settings.
5. Click Location.
6. Enable Ask before accessing by using the switch on the right. It will automatically save.
7. Return to the live stream on PBS.org to begin watching the live stream.

On an Android Phone or Tablet

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome browser.
2. Visit PBS.org.
3. To the right of the address bar, tap the menu icon () > Info ().
4. Tap Site settings.
5. Under Permissions, tap Location.
6. Tap Ask First or Allow. 
7. Return to PBS.org and refresh the live stream.

On an iPhone or iPad

1. Tap on your device's Settings > Privacy > Location Services.
2. Make sure that Location Services is On. If Location Services if Off, tap Location Services and tap the option on the right to enable Location Services. The option on the right will change from gray to green to show it is enabled.
3. Scroll down and tap the Chrome app option.
4. Select Ask Next Time or While Using the App to update your location services preferences for Chrome on your device.
5. Visit the live stream on PBS.org and you should now be able to view the live stream.
