I see a blue screen when I open the PBS Video app on my Apple TV.

If you see a solid blue screen when you open the PBS Video app on your Apple TV, your app may need to be updated or reinstalled.
If you have an Apple TV 4 model, we recommend you try uninstalling and reinstalling the PBS Video app from the "App Store" app on your device by following the steps below:
  • Highlight the app, and click and hold down the Touch surface or Select button on your Apple TV remote until the app starts to jiggle and shake. Then press the Play/Pause button on your remote and select the Delete option on screen.
  • Open the App Store on the Apple TV home screen, go to Purchased, and download the free PBS Video app again.
  • When the app reinstalls, it'll appear on your Apple TV home screen. Open the app, select Activate Now and enter your device's unique activation code at pbs.org/activate
If you have an older model of Apple TV, you will be unable to uninstall or reinstall the PBS Video app. The app is no longer supported, so we can only recommend restarting your device or upgrading to a newer one.
