How do I search for a video?

To find a video on the PBS.org website, you can search by keyword or browse available categories.

How to search by keyword

To search by keyword, click the magnifying glass icon in the upper right side of the site and type your search criteria in the textbox provided. When finished, click the magnifying glass icon to the right of your text or tap Enter on your keyboard.


How to browse for a video

You can browse for an individual video or by the Show to which it belongs. To search for a video by the show to which it belongs, click Shows in the top navigation menu.


How to browse for individual videos

After you have clicked Video in the top navigation menu, you can begin browsing the top carousel items by clicking the left and right facing arrows located to the far left and right sides of the carousel images. To pause the carousel rotation, click the pause button located in the lower right side of the screen.



Scroll further down the page to browse videos that are local to the station you are localized to as well as from different genres such as Arts and Music, Culture, Food, History, How-To, and many more. Click the genre heading to view all videos for that genre.
